THIS IS CHARIOTS OF TIRE
Chariots of Tire started as a joke name for the "modern" car. But then we realized that the end of an era was upon us: the car as we know it -- combustion engine, rubber tires, windshield wipers, radio antenna, etc. -- is being replaced before our eyes. What exactly is the new modern? Just like the horse carriage became the horseless carriage, we wondered what our “chariots of tire," the combustion engine car, would become -- the "wheel-less" carriage? This was in 2009. Of course, now we see the spread of the electric, hybrid, and fuel cell car.
But what, really, is the end game? Passenger drones?
So, join us, as we celebrate this beautiful, but dying, art form. Maybe it’s more beautiful because we are in the last phase of it. Carpe Viam (seize the road) !! Come make some memories with us. That's what this is about. The joy of the journey.
Our goal is that most of the earnings from the rentals of our chauffeured cars, prop rentals and other income will go towards non-profits that fund green spaces while also investing in the clean, revolutionary transportation of the future, whatever that may be: biomimetic passenger drones, hyperloop pods, etc? That's pretty exciting, too. Can't we do both?
